London, Sept 08: A crowd of thousands saw British singer Amy Winehouse`s strongest show of the summer at Bestival.

Winehouse was 45 minutes late for the festival at the Isle of Wright, but turned up, unlike at Rock en Seine in Paris earlier this week. Although the singer had little of her usual interaction with the crowd, she was in full voice and finished with hits "Back to Black", "Love is a Losing Game" and "You Know I`m No Good", reports contactmusic.com

Earlier, the Specials and Grace Jones appeared as surprise guests.

The festival has suffered from the heavy rain that has been battering Britain over the weekend.
