Did Gary Coleman hit pedestrian with truck after argument?

Melbourne, Sept 08: Known for his temper, actor Gary Coleman has hit a man with his truck after they had a verbal fight in a bowling alley in Payson in the early morning hours of Saturday.

Coleman, known for his Different Strokes TV role, argued with Colt Rushton after he took the actor’s pictures inside the bowling alley.

Payson police Lt Bill Wright revealed that the argument took place outside, and that Coleman hit Rushton and a car while backing out of a parking space.

While none of the men have been issued a citation, Wright said that they still cannot say if Coleman hit Rushton deliberately.

He also revealed that none of them have been helping authorities, and are not divulging much information.

"We`re currently trying to sort through those issues," the Daily Telegraph quoted Wright as telling the Deseret News of Salt Lake City.

He added: "We`ve been able to establish there was an argument between the two, due to pictures Rushton wanted to take. He took some of Gary Coleman, and (Coleman) wasn`t happy about it."

After the incident, Rushton was taken to a hospital and treated for minor injuries and released.

However, both Coleman or Rushton could not be reached for comment.

In a statement to The Salt Lake Tribune, Wright said that there are "indications" that alcohol was one of the factors that led to the incident. (ANI)
