London, Sept 08: US singer Katy Perry`s ``I Kissed A Girl` has held on to number one spot in the UK singles chart for the fifth week in a row.
Perry has fended off competition from Eric Prydz and the Pussycat Dolls to remain atop the UK singles chart, reports BBC.
Prydz remains in second place with `Pjanoo`, while the Pussycat Dolls debut in third with `When I Grow Up`.
Meanwhile, the Verve have notched up a second week atop the UK albums chart with their comeback LP, `Forth`.
Irish trio The Script climb to second with their self-titled debut, while Michael Jackson`s King Of Pop collection rises to third.
