New Delhi, May 17: Zee Cafe, the Zee Group`s English general entertainment channel claims to have become the first channel in the country to run popular sitcoms like Unhitched, simultaneously with their launch in the US.

Unhitched is a single camera comedy that follows the lives of the `divorcees`: Kate, Tommy, Freddy and Jack `Gator` Gately. From the creatively fruitful minds of the Farrelly Brothers comes the single camera comedy, set in Boston, about a group of newly single friends learning the painful lessons of starting over in their 30s. They`d all love to get remarried, if they could just find their true loves.

Zee Cafe has launched the new programme, based on an intensive research among Indian viewers who said they learnt a lot about new shows from the internet or sites like YouTube, and could not wait to see them several months or years later.
