London, June 23: It’s not only kids who are a huge Harry Potter buffs, adults too are secret admirers of the book.

In a new poll, Harry Potter has topped the list of secret adult books.

Jilly Cooper got the second spot followed by The Lord Of The Rings, the Narnia books and Mills and Boon, reports the Mirror.

The survey of 2,000 adults showed that three quarters of the adults still read children`s fiction, while a quarter favoured 19th century classics such as Pride and Prejudice and Jane Eyre.

The Hobbit, Black Beauty, Bridget Jones, Adrian Mole, The Kama Sutra and Katie Price also feature in the top 20.

The top five secret adult books include:

1 Harry Potter

2 Jilly Cooper

3 The Lord Of The Rings

4 Narnia books

5 Mills and Boon.
