Los Angeles, June 26: The Simple Life star and new mum Nicole Richie is all set to return to TV with a role in US TV comedy ‘Chuck’

After playing a spoiled rich celebrity on the show ‘The Simple Life’, Nicole will play ‘a snarky and spiteful girl’ this time round too reports Contactmusic.

Chuck’s executive producer Josh Schwartz said, "Nicole auditioned for the part and was very funny. This role is a great opportunity for her to show off her comedic skills and be diabolically evil and kick some butt. It`s going to be really fun."

Going by her past TV performances in sitcoms like ‘8 simple rules’ and ‘American Dreams’, we are sure Nicole will pull up the TRPs of the show.
