New Delhi, June 27: The music of much-awaited Akshay Kumar starrer ‘Singh is Kinng’ released Thursday at a hotel in Mumbai amid Bollywood bigwigs. It was launched by none other than superstar Salman Khan.
The presence of Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif enlightened the evening. The film’s producer Vipul Shah, director Anees Bazmee, music director Pritam, along with industry’s eminent names Mika, Suno Sood, Neha Dhupia, Javed Jaffery, Om Puri and Sudhanshu Pandey, were seen gracing the event.
The live performance by Pak band Azal left the crowd craving for more. Along with them, powerhouse performances by Hard Kaur and Mika set the evening on fire.
“Today is a big day for us as the music of our film is being released and we did not expect such a good response, so all of us are very excited and very charged. This encourages us to work harder and to make a better picture,” said Vipul.
According to sources, Vipul Shah was every glad to have Big B at the launch, but the actor didn’t seem to be truly enjoying himself out there. According to a source, Big B was quite happy as he reached the venue, but the moment he saw Salman, he began to look depressed and left the place too early.
Reports reveal that initially Amitabh was supposed to launch the music of ‘Singh is Kinng’, but later Sallu was roped in for the same.
Even superstar Akshay Kumar chose not to be a part of the starry-glitzy evening, despite the event being important for the promotion of his own upcoming flick. Now, is the alleged love triangle to be blamed for Akki not joining Kat and Sallu at the starry bash? However, we choose to put the blame on Akki’s hectic schedule!
The film is set to hit the theatres on August 8.
