The film is story of the lives of three Lebanese women who go through tough time in their personal lives. Layale (Nadine Labaki) is a beautician working at a salon in Beirut who is struck in a no future relationship with a married man She is constantly fighting her conscious to do the right thing however her affection for her lover overpowers her guilt.

Nisrine played by Yasamine Al Masri is a Muslim and is all set to marry. However, she has had several sexual encounters and is unable to confess to her finance about her lost virginity. Rima played by Joanna Moukarzel is secretly attracted to a women, who is regular customer and a aspiring actress. Together the three try to come to terms with their inhibitions and release their aspirations.
