London, July 04: Bryan Adams and Oasis were among those honoured at Silver Clef Awards held on Friday.

Pop singer, Bryan Adams won the Hard Rock Ambassadors of Rock award in credit for all his charity work, while `Oasis` received the main Silver Clef Award.

The ceremony was held at London’s Park Lane Hilton hotel.

Oasis introduced the Britpop movement with debut album ‘Definitely Maybe’ becoming the fastest selling debut in UK’s history sparking a long-running rivalry with Blur.

Fascinatingly this band enjoys fighting with each other, attacking the paparazzi and kicking the cops.

Oasis has followed Paul Weller and U2 in picking up the career-spanning prize.
