After the release of his flick ‘Mission Istanbul’, actor Zayed Khan turns to his usual tongue-in-cheek self as he speaks on his mission , his role and the future in a chit-chat with Amit of Spicezee.com
Q. What is this Mission all about?
A. This is Mission Istanbul (laughs)…This mission is an action-thriller as well as a dramatic movie; and this Mission is about terrorism.
Q. Zayed, you are playing the role of a journalist on screen and I’m a journalist in real life. So what’s the difference between you and me?
A. (Laughs) I made it look good.
Q. You also performed a difficult task in the movie…a stunt that required you to jump off from the 4th floor of a building. How was that?
A. That was a stunt that Appu (Apoorva Lakhia) said that he wanted to do with a stuntman. But I told him that the stunt man’s body language would be totally wrong. If a stunt man does it then people will think that they’ve kept me in the action movie just for the sake and I am not doing any work. I was very insistent to do my stunts on my own.
Q. How much of a danger is this (Zayed) Khan to the Bollywood’s Khan triumvirate?
A. (with a lot of style) You will see.
