Mumbai, Aug 26: Bollywood bombshell Kangana Ranaut, who is known to be a frontrunner every time a director is looking for female leads to portray bold characters, faced a setback recently when a controversial scene from the flick ‘Fashion’, which was to see Kangana’s top fall off; paving way for a peek a boo was scissored by director Madhur Bhandarkar.
It is reported, that the petite actress had prepared a lot for the shot in question, which is apparently modeled on the lines of the infamous ‘Carol Gracias wardrobe malfunction’ episode that happened at one of the fashion weeks and had created much buzz as the media had canned the malfunction and the scene was flashed all around thereafter.
Bhandarkar`s much talked about ‘Fashion’ is a sneak peek into the darker secrets of the fashion industry and would focus on the most infamous term in the fashion industry `wardrobe malfunction`. Insiders say that Bhandarkar had gone ahead and shot the scene long time back but had a change of mind at the eleventh hour to avoid any controversy. It seems that the director was not sure of getting clearance for the scene from the Censor Board and thus decided to avoid the scene.
Looks like all of Kangana’s efforts have gone in vain this time round, better luck next time babes!
