Its show time as Akshay-Shah Rukh clash onscreen

Mumbai, Aug 26: So who said the ‘Star Wars’ is limited to birthday bashes, house warming ceremonies and reality TV shows? Now witness an onscreen battle between the two reigning superstars of Bollywood, Akshay Kumar and Shah Rukh Khan.

For those who thought that ‘Singh Is Kinng’ taking over an all time opening record set by ‘Om Shanti Om’ was ‘the’ war in happening between the two are highly mistaken. It’s just the beginning!

The star battle began with Akshay’s ‘Singh is Kinng’ breaking the high records of Shah Rukh’s ‘Om Shanti Om’. But, the months to come would witness a lot more as both Akshay and Shah Rukh have as many as four films lined up for release in the coming six months.

First to be released is Shah Rukh’s home production ‘Billoo Barber’ starring Irrfan Khan where Shah Rukh plays a diminutive role. The movie release would clash with Akshay’s ‘Chandni Chowk to China’.

The next for Shah Rukh would be ‘Rab Ne Bana De Jodi’ which would bring him back with his ‘Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge’ and ‘Mohabbatein’ director, Aditya Chopra. Meanwhile, Akshay enthralls in Sajid Nadiadwala’s, ‘Kambakth Ishq’ where he stars opposite Kareena Kapoor and Sylvester Stallone. Again, that won`t be an end to the war since Khan’s ‘Dulha Mil Gaya’ is all set to release in the same period.

Well, for once we thank our ‘stars’ that the battle for supremacy is being fought on screen and not in birthday parties!
