Mumbai, Aug 28: Better sense has finally prevailed over Ram Gopal Varma as the director has dropped the idea of a sequel to his Sarkar Raj. The director par excellence seems to have accepted good pal Big B’s advice and has decided to let the sequel go.
After the success of ‘Sarkar Raj’, rumour of a third part in the series started making rounds causing endless talk as to who will play the lead in the next flick. Some even went on to the extent of contemplating that an offer for the same has been made to Hrithik Roshan.
According to a news daily, the director has now stated that there will be no more sequels to his political dramas ‘Sarkar’ and ‘Sarkar Raj’.
Well, going by the recent disastrous remakes of various films, including Ramu’s debacle called ‘RGV ki Aag’ – a terrible attempt to make a sequel to the timeless ‘Sholay’, we hope that Ramu leaves the audiences with fond memories.
