Mumbai, Aug 28: The much awaited season release, Farhan Akhtar’s ‘Rock On’ has made it to the cover page of the Indian edition of the smash hit music magazine ‘Rolling Stone’. The magazine in their previous issue had roped in music maestro, AR Rahman to pose for the cover page. And, now in their September issue they have managed to present the cast of India’s first-ever film on Rock music. Certainly a delightful way to promote the film!

The issue provides an opaque version of the movie before its release as it features a personal diary of the film by Luke Kenny, who is a musician by profession and a contributing editor of the magazine.

There is also an exclusive photo shoot involving the four lead actors- Farhan Akhtar, Arjun Rampal, Luke Kenny and Purab Kohli along with the trio of Shankar, Ehsaan and Loy who have scored the music of the movie.

‘Rock On’ is the story about a band, its successes and failures revolving around the lives of its band members.

In an exclusive interview to Spicezee.com, Farhan Akhtar talked about his passion for music, especially Rock. “Back in college I was never a part of any band, but I loved listening to Rock music, it thrilled me. I play guitar, so whenever I meet my friends, or they drop in we have a blast. There is music everywhere, we have a jam session and I thoroughly enjoy it.”
