Los Angeles, Aug 29: After bagging mega bucks at the foreign box office, Andrew Staton’s science fiction flick Wall E has released across the country today.
The film that stars Ben Burt, Elissa Knight, Sigourney Weaver, Jeff Garlin is touted to be a major BO office hit setting standards among sci-fi flicks.
Directed by Andrew Stanton, the film attempts to draw attention at the adverse effects of global warming through an army of tin robots. The story goes to show as to how in the 22nd century mankind abandons the unmanageable polluted planet in search of a safer place.
In the process to renew their dying planet they leave behind an army of robots called Wall E to clean the mess they created. However, even the robots cannot escape the unbearable deteriorated conditions, as a result by the year 2815 only one unit of the Wall E is left behind.
After centuries of activation and life on earth, this Wall E has a sense of curiosity and collects interesting tapes and watches what mankind left in their junk. Looking at these videotapes, Wall E learns about human emotions and love.
