Hilton`s debut documentary being screened at Toronto fest

Hilton`s debut documentary being screened at Toronto fest

New York, Sept 05: Socialite heiress Paris Hilton is taking her amateur film “Paris, Not France” to the big screen at the Toronto International Film Festival.

The film that has been billed as a behind-the-scenes look at her life is due to premiere at the festival Sep 8, reports Hollywood.com.

The film is to be screened thrice during the fest. However, Hilton has asked organisers to cancel the two advance screenings in a bid to raise the profile of the film, according to radio-station Wenn.

"We wanted to create more buzz and create some hype. We felt the impact would be more extreme if we had one screening,” said her representative Jason Moore to the New York Post gossip column PageSix.

On the contrary, festival organiser Thom Powers said he would prefer to host all three screenings so that more people could see it.

He added: "I wish we could do more, but it`s better than not showing it at all."
